Coaching and Guiding

Coaching and Guiding

We work with Ridelines, a multi-award-winning mountain bike skills coaching provider. Their coaches work with everyone from first-timers to riders who have been at it for years and want to finally clean a section that keeps beating them.

The combination that works best is a hire bike from us and a half or full day with a Ridelines coach: the right bike, set up properly, and someone showing you how to ride it. It is a much quicker way to improve than grinding out laps on your own.

To book both together, drop us a message with your dates and we will arrange the bike and the coaching around them.

Corporate Away Days

At Glentress Bike Hire, we are incredibly fortunate to be based at the Riders Retreat, which allows us to provide a truly unique and comprehensive experience for our guests. Whether you're a business, team, event organiser, or parent, we understand the importance of finding ways to inspire and motivate your team, and we are here to help.

We offer a wide range of bespoke packages that can be tailored to your specific needs, including e-bike hire, accommodation, guided tours, and more. We work closely with you to create a package of activities that will energise, motivate, inspire, and relax your team.

Our base at the Riders Retreat also provides added convenience and amenities for our guests. Our restaurant and bar area can accommodate up to 50 people, making it a great spot for lunch or post-ride debriefs and drinks. For smaller teams, we have a smaller snug area just off the bar.

For teams that want to make a few days of it, we have 8 rooms available of varying sizes sleeping up to 25 people. This allows your team to truly immerse themselves in the experience, and make the most of their time in the beautiful surroundings of the Glentress Forest Park.
